As the Rangers deal with the fallout of Rita’s sinister plan and Matthew’s startling return, a new threat emerges with a shocking connection to Lord Drakkon.

SYNOPSIS

In the World of the Coinless, Bulk and refugees are surrounded by Mastodon Sentries. They are rescued by Kimberly Hart who was sent by the Coinless to get them out of Angel Grove.

Meanwhile in the present, Kim’s parents are getting a divorce and her father is moving out of their house. Billy is spending more time morphed with his DinoZord as Trini checks in on him. The next day, all five Rangers check in on Matthew Cook, but he doesn’t respond to any of them. Rita notices a dark energy on Earth and sends Goldar to check it out.

Zordon detects the unusual energy signature outside of the city and sends the Power Rangers to investigate. While they fight Goldar and the Putties, a new version of the Pink Ranger shows up and defeats Goldar all by herself. When the Rangers approach her, she attacks them. During the battle, the new Ranger reveals she is an older Kimberly Hart. After she demands that they release Drakkon, the Ranger Slayer realizes she traveled too far into the past. She blows up a train car and escapes.

Back at the Command Center, Zordon contemplates the fluctuations in time and Kimberly freaks out. At home, Jason accidentally finds out about his Dad’s illness from a Doctor’s call. Sam Scott yells at Jason for invading his privacy, demanding he keep it a secret.

Outside of Angel Grove the Ranger Slayer fails to contact Finster 5 with the chaos crystal, but Rita Repulsa appears with an offer…
