The next saga in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic book series from BOOM! Studios begins with Issue 40 titled “Necessary Evil”. Fans of the comic book will immediately notice a new character on the roster – the White Ranger – giving way to the belief that a time-skip is happening in the series after the fallout from the Shattered Grid event from 2018.
In this brief preview of the issue we see the White Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Blue Ranger battling a monster and initiating attacks that the Red, Yellow, and Black Ranger seem unfamiliar with. Is that due to something that occurred after reality was wiped clean with Shattered Grid, or is it possible that we’re getting our first peak at Rocky, Aisha, and Adam?
Fans of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers television show remember fondly (or not so fondly) how Jason, Zack, and Trini were replaced on the show by Rocky, Adam, and Aisha. Could the time-skip occurring in the comic take us to a point beyond the famed Power Transfer episodes?
