Through a recent Instagram post at this year’s Anime Expo, Scott Zilner – the organizer behind Power Morphicon – officially unveiled the place and time for the next show. Power Morphicon will be returning to Pasadena, California over Labor Day weekend in 2020. The exact dates are Friday, September 4th through Sunday, September 6th.
Power Morphicon is the bi-annual Power Rangers convention previously supported by Saban Brands and Bandai America. In 2018, Hasbro showed their support by having a massive display and presenting a large product panel where the Lightning Collection officially had its debut with the Mighty Morphin White Ranger. Power Morphicon features well over a hundred current and former cast and crew of the entire Power Rangers brand from actors, crew members, comic artists and writers, and more. It is the largest Power Rangers convention on the planet.
You can check out the official Power Morphicon website by clicking here. So far the only guest who has made any public announcement of being at the show is Dwayne Cameron (the Operation Overdrive Mercury Ranger) as he assisted in the banner reveal. He is but the first of well over a hundred guests who will attend the show on top of thousands of attendees. Stay tuned for more information as it develops!
