Pancho Mansfield, the President of Global Scripted Programming for Entertainment One (eOne), sat down with Deadline in an interview following their acquisition by Hasbro. In the interview he states:
We’re just wrapping our arms around it and we’re excited to begin. We’re going to continue doing what we’re doing and we have this great treasure chest of IP and worlds to bring to life
Brands in consideration include Transformers, G.I. Joe, Power Rangers, Action Man, and Dungeons and Dragons. Mansfield stated that they are only now in their investigation process but some properties have already been tapped for upcoming TV and film productions.
Entertainment One was acquired by Hasbro for $3.8 billion dollars in 2019. Such properties as PJ Masks, Peppa Pig, and the entire Deathrow Records music label were included in the buyout.
