With remnants of Rita Repulsa‘s control still stirring in the back of Tommy’s mind, he must confront the fact he may be more of a danger to his new team than a help. Also featuring a Bulk & Skull short story by Steve Orlando (Midnighter) and artist Corin Howell that puts the pair on the ultimate mission to impress Kimberly and Trini!
SYNOPSIS
Jason and Zach muse about Zordon’s reasoning for allowing Tommy to join the Power Rangers without their input as Tommy continues to fight visions of Rita Repulsa as he tries to live an ordinary life. Rita Repulsa and her villainous crew discuss something about “Chaos Energy” and a crystal and that the battles Tommy fight are empowering said crystal. They deduce that more time is needed. After an intense training session, Tommy ponders what it’s like to be a Power Ranger only to be confronted in his room by the evil Scorpina.
STAFF REVIEW
This issue does a great job expanding on what the television show did not – the effects of having an enemy immediately join your tight-knit team. That, and the potential PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) that comes from being under an evil spell where you tried to kill your new friends.
