Tommy must overcome his failures and hallucinations as the Rangers face an underwater attack. With Rita Repulsa’s ultimate plan in play, the power of the crystal will be revealed, bringing forth one of the greatest threats the Rangers have ever faced.

SYNOPSIS

The Power Rangers, minus the Green Ranger, race to the shore to stop Scorpina and the Dragonzord.  Rita sends down some shark monsters to interfere to allow the Dragonzord time to begin a plan of destruction to power the Chaos Crystal.  Tommy fights back against his Rita hallucination and defies Jason’s orders and joins the battle – successfully destroying the fake Dragon Dagger, taking control of the Dragonzord, and capturing Scorpina.  Back at the Command Center, Zack and Jason begin chastising Tommy for disobeying, pushing him to the brink of fisticuffs with Jason.  As Tommy is about to throw a punch the Chaos Crystal reaches full power and opens a portal, destroying the Command Center.  From the ashes rises a large black robot with a voice stating that it has been waiting for quite some time to destroy the Power Rangers.

And there’s the payoff for the last few issues.  Whatever this black robot is it spells trouble for all the Power Rangers.  If you enjoy the drama of a team falling apart then you’ll enjoy this issue, this series, and continue to be on the edge of your seat for what happens next.
