If you stayed up on Friday night then you saw what all the excitement was about. Thanks to @PowerRangerTalk and @razzle1337 on Twitter a slew of new Power Rangers Lightning Collection figure listings were discovered. Four of these listings we reported earlier because they are actually named giving it slightly more credibility. The remaining 8 listings are code-words only. It is important to note – until Hasbro states anything definite this is all speculation. With that said, let’s get on with it.

To decipher these code words we have to look at previous entries. For example, the Beast Morphers Red Ranger was listed in code as “BDY ROGER ROMEO”. We only care about the first letter in each word. BDY ROGER ROMEO becomes B-R-R. The first letter is the season, the second letter is the color, and the final letter is “Ranger” (Romeo always means Ranger). So let’s look at the code-words only names again, but deciphered.

For whatever reason, previous Mighty Morphin listings have used “SPC” or “SPECT” as a stand-in for MMPR. The Shadow Ranger from Wave 1 used “SAL” for “SPD”, and the Beast Morphers Blue Ranger listing earlier in this article was code-worded “BDY BETA ROMEO”, so we know BETA stands for “Blue”.
We will have to wait and see what the future holds. But for fans of the Lightning Collection toy line, tonight has been a very fun and exciting night.
